Commercial Assistant
Just finished your studies, not entirely sure which direction to go, but definitely up for a challenging, varied role? Then this might be the job for you! As a Commercial Assistant, you'll be the helping hand not just for one, but for two teams. Interested in both sales and finance? This position gives you plenty of room to grow and develop. Look, we’re not going to ask you to split yourself in two. Working across two teams doesn’t mean double the responsibilities—we promise. What it does mean is double the opportunities to learn, grow, and enjoy variety in your work.
Our sales and finance departments work very closely together. That’s why this dual-role makes perfect sense in our flat organizational structure. You’ll be the link between departments, offering support where needed. You’ll assist the commercial team and make sure our sales colleagues are equipped with the right information. You’ll also help Arnoud, our Commercial Controller, by maintaining reports and managing financial data. So yes—you’re detail-oriented and not afraid to give advice when needed.
What will I be working on?
Our main goal is to make healthier choices accessible to everyone. We aim to remove 1 billion sugar cubes from our product categories. Ambitious? Definitely. But that makes it even more rewarding! You'll be working in an entrepreneurial and international environment with a warm, welcoming culture.
This role brings daily new challenges and requires you to quickly switch between a wide range of responsibilities. There’s a lot coming your way, so being able to set your own priorities is essential. You know when to be flexible—and when to stand your ground.
In practical terms:
You’ll spend about 60% of your time supporting part of the sales team, which includes a Group Account Manager and (National) Account Managers. The other 40% of your time will be spent assisting our Commercial Controller Arnoud with key finance-related queries from the marketing and sales teams.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
Sales Support
You proactively take administrative work off the sales team’s plate:
Booking promotions, keeping price lists up to date, and partially coordinating with customers;
Maintaining perfect records for purchasing organizations;
Strengthening the relationship with your counterpart at the customer’s side;
Understanding customer needs and expectations—and responding to them proactively and flexibly.
Finance Support
On the days you support Finance, you'll be:
Maintaining marketing and sales reports (in Power BI);
Monitoring budgets, managing master data, and running analyses;
Spotting insights and sharing advice with a keen eye for detail.

Also, you:
Have completed an HBO degree (for example in Commercial Economics or Business Administration);
No experience yet? No problem—we’ll teach you everything you need to know;
Are not intimidated by working with data (you’re comfortable with finance, data, and Excel);
Are driven and structured. This is an analytical role, and you’ll help ensure internal processes run smoothly;
Are both analytically and communicatively strong.
